Easy to cook yellow rice

Ingredients
- 1 cup Premium Delicious Jasmine Fragrant Rice
- 2 cups of water
- ¼ cup minced onion
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon curry powder (Optional)
- 1 garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 seasoning cube
Directions
- Pour 2 tablespoons cooking oil in a hot saucepan and stir in onions till golden brown
- Add the ground turmeric, curry powder, garlic powder, black pepper and cube
- Stir all the ingredients together for 30 seconds
- Pour 2 cups of water (Same cup used for measuring rice)
- Add 1 cup of Premium Delicious Jasmine Fragrant Rice
- Add salt to taste
- Cover the saucepan, reduce heat to low, and simmer until water is absorbed and rice is cooked about 20 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork.
- Serve with a stew of your choice
